READ THIS FIRST. Entries that do not follow these instructions will strictly not be assessed for entry to the prize.

To enter, you must FIRST use the upload form below:

  • One high quality image of the complete artwork
  • One close-up detail image
  • One mock-up or staged image showing the artwork in a room or interior. 
  • A completed entry form which you can download here.

Please ensure all images are from 2000px to 5000px wide and up to 5Mb size. Use ImageResizer or similar if you are unsure of your file size.

You will be able to view your entries on the Cart page after clicking "Add to Cart" above.

Images may be captured using a mobile phone, provided they are sharp, well lit and accurately represent the artwork.

DO NOT use the "Buy with Shop" button above to enter this prize. If you want to buy through the Shop app, you can do it via the next page.

Having trouble uploading your files?

If you’re having trouble uploading images or documents with your art prize entry, please try the following:

  • Check that each file meets the file type and size requirements shown beside its upload button.
  • Ensure you have named ALL files starting with Surname_First Name_Title of work_.jpg, and that it contains only letters and numbers. DO NOT USE symbols such as &, /, # or %.
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Large image files may take longer to upload on a weak or intermittent connection.
  • Only upload one file at a time, and allow each upload to finish before starting the next.
  • Wait for the file name to appear beside the upload button before continuing. This confirms that the file has uploaded successfully.
  • Once all file names are showing, select Add to Cart. This step saves the uploaded files with your entry and takes you through to checkout.

We have tested the entry form and confirmed that, following a successful upload, the file name appears beside the upload button. The files are then saved to the entry when Add to Cart is selected, and you can view thumbnails of them on the next page.

If you are still unable to upload your files, please email us at plateauprize@blackfiggallery.com.au with:

  • A screenshot of the page and any error message
  • The type and size of the file you are uploading
  • The device and browser you are using
  • A brief description of what happens when you select the upload button or Add to Cart

Please do not email your artwork files unless requested, as large attachments may not be received.
